I tend to reach for the available—reimagining, reinterpreting and repurposing only to hold it in a new definition for a moment; a breath, a beat, suspended. Forced fragility or masked strength that strive to compensate one for the other in times of necessity.
Visitors approach a large mass and curiosity rewards/envelopes/overtakes each individual with sound bites choreographed into a quiet frenzy. A low wind rustles it’s way as smaller sounds meander in and out of earshot—neighborhood dogs, a friendly tune, an intimate moment and other everyday white noise.
The objects appear to be incomplete, perhaps existing elsewhere in the past or future. Loose fabric squares invoke the idea of more to be made… an excerpt, an exchange
